Shaanya, i dont know what u r complaining about. I was actually
happy that they celebrated the birthday at 12 in the night. Look at their enthusiasm. This shows their love towards the kid. Why do u celebrate ur and ur friends bday at 12 in the night? why spoil everybodys sleep? why cant just do it next day morning?.. The excitement of celebrating @12 is different right? Its the same here. You will understand once you are a parent and love ur kid more than the world.

Yeah i agree with Teju…. Its not about their maturity level.. Its all about what ppl think adapting to the new culture and being cool about it.. It will be great if atleast we, who find this uncalled for dont follow the same!!

Well I don’t know about the maturity level. But, I would call it westernization. And the fact that we find this foolish tells us that we are not influenced by western culture yet
